Straight up: these are demos, not client work. The businesses below are fictional, the phone numbers don't ring, and nothing here is presented as a past client — we're new, and pretending otherwise would insult your intelligence. What's real is the build itself: the structure, the copy, the speed, the way it works on a phone. Judge the work, then picture your name on it.

Demo 1 — the emergency trade

Built the way a plumber's site has to be built: for someone standing in water at 11pm who will call whoever they trust first. Tappable phone number inside the first second, PGDB registration where people actually look, emergency and after-hours terms stated plainly instead of buried.

What to look at: how fast the number is reachable on a phone, and what the site tells a panicking visitor in the first five seconds.
The service pages are written around symptoms people actually search — blocked drain, no hot water — not trade jargon.
Trust signals (registration, insurance, guarantees) sit in the header and above the fold, not the footer.

Demo 2 — the considered trade

The opposite job: a builder's customer researches for weeks, asks three mates, and checks whether you're the sort of outfit that still exists in five years. This build is structured for that — LBP status explained, a project gallery that shows process rather than just glamour shots, and copy that answers the questions people are embarrassed to ask.

What to look at: how the site earns trust across a longer visit — credentials, process, and proof laid out in the order a cautious customer actually wants them.
The enquiry form asks builder-specific questions, because a renovation enquiry and a drainlaying enquiry are different conversations.
Every page still works on a phone with two bars, because that's where half the research happens.
